Last night I found a letter I wrote, but never sent, to a past love who had broken my heart.
Handwritten in blue ink and full of emotion and questions of why and whatnot.
Written less than one month to the day I would meet the person who would take my broken heart, piece it back together and then crush it to dust.
My heart dust scattered across the city, and from time to time, flecks dropped from the sky to burn my skin, cloud my eyes and eventually force me to flee.
Post-break, pre-crush, what a window to find.
